摘要：A process for deacidifying a crude oil and/or crude oil distallate containingorganic acids, said process comprising: (a) contacting the crude oil and/or crude oildistillate with (i) a Group IA metal salt selected from the group containing of Group IAmetal oxides, hydroxides and alkoxides and (ii) a polar solvent, in the presence of lessthan 5 % volume of water based on the volume of the crude oil and/or crude oil distillatesuch that at least a portion of the organic acids are converted into Group IA metalneutralisation salts thereof and at least a portion of the neutralisation salts are extractedinto the polar solvent as an extract phase; and separating a crude oil and/or crude oildistillate phase which is reduced in acidity from the polar solvent extract phase.
