摘要：A rotating mold roll (215) defines an array of molding cavities (252). The moldroll (215) is positioned adjacent a pressure device (220, 280) to define a pressure nip (235,285). At least one of the mold roll (215) and the pressure device (220, 280) define amolding recess (250, 257, 253) that is larger than the molding cavities (252). Resin (230) isintroduced to the rotating mold roll (215) and pressed into the molding cavities (252) andthe molding recess (250, 257, 253) to form discrete projections (130, 530, 630, 830, 930)and a series of discrete, longitudinally spaced apart structural features (110, 510, 610,710, 810, 1410). The projections (130, 530, 630, 830, 930) and structural features (110, 510,610, 710, 810, 1410) are carried on a continuous sheet-form base (115, 515, 615, 715, 815,1415). The resin (230) is removed from the mold roll (215) to expose a continuouspreform sheet including the base (115, 515, 615, 715, 815, 1415), the projections (130,530, 630, 830, 930), and the structural features (110, 510, 610, 710, 810, 1410). Thestructural features (110, 510, 610, 710, 810, 1410) are arranged along the preform sheetin a longitudinally repeating pattern. The preform sheet is separated into multiplediscrete products including an array of the projections (130, 530, 630, 830, 930) and atleast one of the structural features (110, 510, 610, 710, 810, 1410).
