direction, whereby between the ribs 2 the longitudinal interspaces 3 are sharply defined.Subsequently, the ridges 2a are flattened by a flattening mandrel, whereby the prevailingpart of the ridge mass is deformed in a tangential direction into the area of thelongitudinal interspaces 3.
