1. Warming-up / Revision (2′) Sing a song: Happy birthday.
Teacher 展示图片,使用cake, chocolate, ice cream, jelly 等单词的图片进行复习,用看图片抢答的形式。
2. Presentation (14′)
1)T show the shape cards, ask:
What’s this? Can you say it in Chinese? Ss:正方形,圆形,,五角形,心形。……
After Ss answer, T asks: Can you say it in English? S1: Sorry, I don’t know. 2) Reading.
Paste these cards and words on blackboard. Ask Ss to follow. 3) Look and say: Lisa is going to have a birthday party.Her aunt and uncle are going shopping with her.They want to buy a birthday cake for Lisa.Do you know what kind of cake Lisa likes?
Listen and answer.
Ss: Lisa chooses a heart-shaped cake. T: Yes, clever boy. (Or: Clever girl.) 5) They also get some other things.What are they? Can you tell me? Ss: Balloon and chocolate.
T: Good job!
T: Lisa 是否还买了别的东西。
T: They also get some jelly.What is jelly? Do you know? 接着展示jelly 的教学卡片,让学生理解这个词的意思。
6) Acting. Ss role-playing read texts 3. Practice (10′) 1)Just speak
Ask Ss to engage in dialogue performances Competition. (优胜组奖励贴纸) 2)Dialogues.
Ask Ss to take out home-made cake pictures, marked with a price tag, simulated cake shop’s scene, shopping activities.
